In the book Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows, the magic of love comes in to play a lot but withit, there always seemsto be sacrifice that goes along with it. The entire series seems to focus on Lilly's love for Harry and how he was protected by that a fair amount. In this book, we saw the love that everyone else had like Snape.
Most of the tie when you think of love and sacrifice, you think of dying for someone that you love but that's always the case, as shown in the chapter: The Prices Tale. It shows what Snapes entire life had been like. He was always close to Lily but she thought of him like a brother which was painfu for him. Later, he had to deal with the fact that she loved James and not him. He made one of the biggest sacrifices that a peson can make when they love someone: he let Lily love someone else. Instead of fighting with Jaes over he, he let he go and that is the truest sacrifice in this series.
It might seem strange, but Kreacher made a sacrifiice too, as seen in the chapter: Kreacher's Tale. He loved his owners, or at least believed that he did and Regulus made him drink from the bowl filled with potion and that was a sacrifice. He knew it would be unpleasant but he did it anyay. This may be a very different version of every other sacrifice that happened in this book but if you think it through, it makes sense.
Harry's family made sacrifices. The Weaseys thought of him as family and Fred gave his life. Ron and Heromine basically sacrificed their entire "normal" childhoods. Sirius saved Harry from the Death Eaters and ended up dying. Dumbledore gave his life as well. Then, there was his real family who died at the hands of Voldemort because they loved him.
In the end, love and sacrifice were a pretty huge thing in Harry Potter. Those who loved Harry or anyone that loved someone who had to do with him gave something away for him. Everything turned out for the better but there were a lot of things that were give up because of Harry. But in this series, nothing is stronger than the magic of love.
