I read an article in Sports Illustrated called From Couch to Clutch. It is about how Jeremy Lin went from a rejected player to a superstar. He was sleeping on his brothers couch in a one bedroom apartment. He got rejected from the NBA twice and put in the D-League four times. When this man got recruited to the Knicks, he went from bench to starter in one night. Jeremy Lin was doing well from his first game. For example, in a game against the Lakers, Jeremy Lin had a higher number of points than Kobe Bryant.
I think that this article was being used to ge everyone excited about Jeremy Lin. It portrays him as a great player by giving crazy for statistics. Some like thirty-eight points to Kobe Bryants thirty-four. Some like twenty-three points against 2010 first pick John Wall. Many praised his skills like ex-coach Mark D'Antoni. The teams that dropped him were just dissapointed in themselves.
Jeremy Lin seems to be an extremley talented basketball player. He had to get kicked off of multiple teams but it seems that Lin has finally found his palce. The fact that one week he was on a couch and unemployed, and the next, he was on an NBA team, He has to be good. I hope that Lin makes it somewhere because he seems to have a lot of potential.
